Shelby Co., KY Will Book 8, p. 190 Last Will and Testament of Abraham Standiford (Written September 17, 1828; Probated April 1829) This Will begins with a lengthy and devout religious preamble and continues, naming "_______property to my brother David Standiford. _______property to my brother William Standiford and "I leave $1,500.00 for the education of David Walter Standiford, son of William Standiford, and also my watch and seal and key to him as a token of my affection for him. Also, I hold a mercantile connection with Graham Standiford which could be advantageously closed in two years. The interest in this to be equally divided between David Standiford, William Standiford, Nancy Adams, Elizabeth Willis, Susan Collier and should it so happen that a residue be still due me after that, that residue I wish divided equally between my above named brothers and sisters. I hereby nominate and appoint my friend Ja. Graham and my brother William Standiford Executors of this my last Will and Testament.
