"Mrs. Isaac Ransom died at her home last Saturday afternoon after a protracted illness. The funeral was held on Sunday afternoon at 4 o'clock at the M.E. Church conducted by Rev. Hunter, after which the remains were interred in the Pleasanton Cemetery followed by members of the G.A.R., ladies of the W.R.C. and many friends and relatives. Priscilla Standeford was born in Harrison County, Indiana, June 29, 1822, was married November 14, 1856 to Thomas Stucker who died in the Army, March 20, 1862. She was married to her now bereaved husband September 6, 1866. She died September 6, 1896, aged seventy-four years, two months and eight days. Mrs. Ransom was a member of the M.E. Church since childhood and the mother of four children, three of whom survive her.
Note: Priscilla was the daughter of Aquilla and Ann (Phillips) Standiford.
