I Tilmon Dixon of near Dahlgren Hamilton County Illinois a
Farmer do make this my last Will and Testament. I give devise and
bequeth my estate and property both real and personal as follows.
That is to say This I desire and will that all my just debts be fully
paid and discharged. Second, I will give and bequeathe unto my
Grand Son Eugene Belt the sum of five dollars ($5) in full of all that I
desire him to have or receive of my estate. I then give devise and
bequeathe unto Lorana Dixon my only daughter living all of my estate of
every nature and kind both real personal or mixed--all notes and
accounts choses in action or in possession all issues ___ and
profits of any and every nature and kind whatever.
I appoint Daniel Lowery who now lives near Dahlgren Hamilton County Illinois my Executor to carry into effect the provisions of this will; In witness whereof I have signed and sealed and published and declared this instrument as my last will at McLeansboro Illinois this 17th day of February AD 1882 And I being of lawful age to wit in my forty ninth year and of sound mind and memory make and leave this instrument as my last will and Testament aforesaid.
