This beautiful lady was the wife of Palmer Johnson Lasswell
and
mother of Joel Kevin Lasswell, Palmer Johnson Lasswell, Jr.,
James Cody Lasswell and John C. Lasswell.
Vacel McGill was born in Hamilton Co., IL
September 3, 1906,
the daughter of James Ira and Ellander Mariah Reed (Steele) McGill.
She died November 15, 1994 at the Hamilton Memorial Hospital
at McLeansboro. She married Palmer Johnson Lasswell at Old
Shawneetown, IL. Vacel is interred at the Hebron Cemetery, west of
Walpole, IL.
Vacle and Palmer lived in Walpole, IL.
