Judd Hotel - Hamilton County, IL
The Judd Hotel in Dahlgren faced north toward the L&N Railroad,
source of many of its "drummer" clientele before automobiles and
"hard roads" put an end to railroad-borne salesmen and small town
hotels.
Note the boardwalk at right.
The
Judd Family of Hamilton County, IL
Started before the Civil War, the house was built four miles south of Dahlgren.
