McMahons To Observe 60^th Anniversary

Mr. and Mrs. Henderson McMahon of 511 East Broadway St., McLeansboro, will celebrate their 60^th wedding anniversary with a 60 layer cake on Sunday, March 12^th during an open house at the Senior Citizens Center, 200 S. Pearl St., McLeansboro, from 1 to 5 p.m.

Mr. McMahon and the former Rella Vickers were Married March 13, 1918.  They are the parents of seven children, Mrs. Verla Trout of Marietta, Okla.; George McMahon of Fremont, Neb., Nolan McMahon of Bourbonnais, Miss Nellie McMahon of McLeansboro, Carol McMahon of Fairfield, Mrs. Mabel Reed of McLeansboro, Robert McMahon of Staunton.  They have 14 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

All relatives and friends are invited to attend the open house, but the McMahons ask that gifts be omitted.
