*David Proudfit stone reads he was a son of Rev. David Proudfit and a brother of Rev. Robert Proudfit, D. David son of Andrew Proudfit who was a brother to the Rev. Jones Proudfit who emigrated from the highlands of Scotland in 1754 being the third minister sent by the associated synod to supply and missionary in the colonies of North America.
Note: David Proudfit was born June 8, 1813 PA and died March 23, 1880.
