Obituary of Daniel Fred Standfier, 1886-1948

| Daniel Fred Standfier, who died Thursday at his home in Fort Towson, was
buried Friday in the Fort Towson cemetery following the funeral service conducted by the
Rev. Mr. Crabtree, of Valliant, in the Baptist Church at Ft. Towson. Mr. Standfier was born in Texas in 1886 and had been a resident of this community for 40 years, during which time he engaged in farming and as a livestock dealer. Listed as survivors are Mrs. Irene Standfier and three children, Ferrell Standfier and V. O. Standfier, of Albuquerque, N.M. and Mrs. Earl Greeson, of Durant; a sister, Mrs. Frances Bowers, Ft. Worth; his step mother, Mrs. Ann Moore, Fort Towson and nine grandchildren. Coffey Funeral home directed the funeral arrangements. |
