          Milo Milton Owen Woodruff, son of G. W. and Lucy Woodruff, was born near McLeansboro, Illinois May 8, 1858; died in Arkansas Sept. 27. 1924, age 66 years, 4 months and 19 days.

          He was united in married age Eliza E. Prince April 22, 1883 and to this union five children were born, one son and four daughters.  Effie Gertrude preceded him in death about sixteen years ago, leaving a three day old son for he and his wife to care for.

          He moved from Hamilton county to Arkansas in September twenty-seven years ago and only made two visits back to his old home.

          He had been in bad health for some time and knew his time here was short.

          Besides his wife and four children he leaves several grandchildren, two half brothers, H. G. Pierce of McLeansboro, and A. E. Pierce of Arkansas; also a half sister, Mrs. A. W. Allen of Mt. Vernon, Illinois, and a host of other relatives and friends to mourn his departure.
