NATHAN THOMAS WILLIAMSON

b. January 13, 1861
d. April 2, 1937          

        Nathan Thomas Williamson died at his home in Dahlgren at twelve o'clock last night from a heart attack.  He has been in poor health for some time.

        Mr. Williamson was born and reared near Dahlgren and spent most of his life there.  He farmed for a number of years and had served as Tax collector and constable of Dahlgren Township in the past.

        Of lovely disposition he had a host of friends.  He was a member in good standing of the I.O.O.F. lodge in Venice, Ill.

        Besides his widow, Mary E. Williamson he is survived by the following children: Dwight E. Williamson of Gary, Ind., Mrs. Louis Ortel (Leta Belle) and Mrs. C. C. Chapman (Halcie March) of St. Louis, Mrs. Dave Foreman (Rose) of East St. Louis, Mrs. Nova Spracklen of Sheridan, Wyo.  He is also survived by one brother E. C. Williamson of Dahlgren and two half brothers, A. G. McReynolds of Mt. Vernon and John Curry of Arkansas, one half sister Mrs. Clifford Irwin of Illiopolis, Ill. and 5 grandchildren.
