        TUCKER.  Verner Tucker, 52, of 331 Park Drive, Bethalto, died Thursday in Memorial Hospital, Mattoon, where he had been a patient three weeks.

          Mr. Tucker, a machinist, was a former employee of Owens Illinois

          He was born at Raleigh, August 21, 1912.

          Survivors are two daughters, Mrs. David Cain, and Mrs. John Pickering, Bethalto; a son, Verner Jerome, U. S. Army, stated at Ft. Bragg, N. C., and five grandchildren.

          The body is at Smith Funeral Home, Bethalto, pending funeral arrangements.

          Survivors include: two brothers, Hubert Tucker of Alton and Loren Oglesby of Galatia.
