Mrs. Teresa Prince of 110 W. Market St., McLeansboro, died at 11:30 p.m. Monday at Hamilton Memorial Hospital.

She was a Gold Star Mother.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Gholson Funeral Chapel in McLeansboro, with the Rev. W. C. Ward officiating.  Burial was in the Oddfellows cemetery at McLeansboro.

Mrs. Prince was born July 31, 1901 in Franklin County, the daughter of Ora L. and Luella (Mead) Sloan.  She was married to Ralph Prince, who preceded her in death in 1971.

She was a member of the First Baptist Church in McLeansboro.

Mrs. Prince is survived by a son, Bob S. Prince of McLeansboro and two grandchildren, Pam and Greg.

She was preceded in death by a son, Bertis R. Prince, who was killed in service in World War II; and by a brother and sister.
