RACHEL MURIEL HUTCHCRAFT SHARER

        Gibson City..Funeral services for Rachel M. Sharer, 77, of Gibson City were set for 10 a.m. Tuesday at Lamb Funeral Home, Gibson City, the Rev. Thomas Condron officiating.

        Burial was to be in Drummer Twp Cemetery, Gibson City.

        Mrs. Sharer died at 6:31 p.m. Sunday (November 18, 1900) at her home.  She was born July 31, 1913, at Aden, a daughter of John and Amy Viola Garrison Hutchcraft.  She married Albert Clay Sharer on February 16, 1935, at Belle Prairie.  He died October 24, 1972.

        Survivors include two nephews, Robert Hutchcraft of Gibson City and the Rev. Ronald Hutchcraft, of Wayne N. J.; and a niece, Mary Lou Hutchcraft West of Walde, TX.

        She was preceded in death by three brothers, Clarence, Clyde, and John Dale, and several nieces and nephews.

        Mrs. Sharer lived at Carlinville for 21 years.  In 1972, she moved to Gibson City, where she was secretary at Walker Insurance.

        Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, the American Heart Association or the Arthritis Foundation.
