Paul E. SCHNICKER, 43, of Dahlgren, died 7:29 p.m. Dec. 26, 1994 at Good Samaritan Regional Health Center.

He was a concrete finisher.

Mr. Schnicker was born Feb. 3, 1951 in Dahlgren a son of John Eugene and Kathrine Mae (Brake) Schnicker.  August 22, 1970 he married Sandra M. (Sigwert), who survives.

Services will be 2 p. m. Thursday at Harre Funeral Home in McLeansboro, with Rev. Sam Clark and Rev. Garlin Burris officiating.  Burial will be in Middle Creek Cemetery near McLeansboro.

Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his mother, Katherine Schnicker of Dahlgren, his wife Sandra of Dahlgren, two sons; Robert of Mt. Vernon and Alan of McLeansboro; two daughters, Paula Burris and husband Brian of Opdyke and Amanda Schnicker at home; two grandchildren, Michael and Brandon; three brothers; Jerry and Larry of Dahlgren and Mike of Mt Vernon; three sisters; Olive Thomas and husband  Larry of Enfield, Vera Baltzell and husband Jess of Dix and Tina white and husband Tom of Mt. Vernon.

He was a member of Middle creek Baptist church and was an adult leader for Boy scouts of America and also a member of the Dahlgren Fire Dept.

Mr. Schnicker was preceded in death by his grandparents and his father, Gene Schnicker.
