Mrs. J. E. Robinson Died Tuesday Night

Mrs. J. E. Robinson, one of McLeansboro's best known and most respected ladies, passed away at her home in this city Tuesday night following an extended illness.  Mrs. Robinson, who had been in poor health for several years, suffered a paralytic stroke about three weeks ago.  She is survived by her husband.

Mrs. Robinson was a member of the Methodist church of this city, and was always vitally interested in the work of the church.  For a number of years, she was a teacher in the Methodist Sunday School.  Mrs. Robinson also held a prominent place in the social life of the community,, and the news of her passing is received with the greatest sorrow on the part of her many friends.  She was indeed a good woman, always kindly and cheerful and ever ready to lend a helping hand to those in need, and it is needless to say that she will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Funeral services will be held at the Methodist church this morning (Thursday) at 10:00 o'clock, and will be conducted by Rev. H. W. Smoot.  The remains will then be shipped to New Albany, Ind., the old home of the deceased, where interment will take place.

        F. W. Robinson, John T. Robinson, Miss Ida Sackett and J. E. Robinson will accompany the remains to New Albany.
