          Edwin Hardin Pratt, son of George and Elizabeth Pratt, was born in Hamilton County, Illinois April 26, 1847, died March 24, 1925.

          Had been a member of the Methodist Episcopal church in good standing for 46 years.

          He was married to Rowena Ashbury, April 8, 1875.  Moved to Union by state in 1882 and later settled in Haines in 1884.

         He leaves the widow, one daughter, Mrs. William Hearing, four sons, George, Walter and Edgar of Haines and James of McEwen.

         The funeral will take place this afternoon at 3 o'clock at Haines.  Rev. R. C. Lee of Weiser, Idaho officiating.
