PEARL WHEELER LITTLE
McLeansboro

Funeral services for Mrs. Pearl Little, 86, McLeansboro, were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, January 3, 1980, at the Gholson Funeral Home here with the Rev. Frank Brookman officiating.  Burial followed in the Prospect Cemetery.

She died at 8 a.m. Monday January 28, 1980 in the Hamilton Memorial Hospital.

Mrs. Little was born in Hamilton County on September 28, 1893, the daughter of the late Theopolis and Octavia (Gholson) Wheeler.  On June 3, 1911, she married Grafton Little -- who preceded her in death.

Mrs. Little was a member of the Second Baptist Church of McLeansboro.

She is survived by four sons, William Little, McLeansboro, Weldon Little, McLeansboro, Wilson Little, Lawrenceville, Kenneth Little, Oregon; four daughters, Mrs. Myrtle Poole, Norris City, Mrs. Marjorie Neal, McLeansboro, Mrs. Dorothy Galtney, DeKalb, Mrs. Nona Miller, Maple Park; one brother, Orvil Wheeler, McLeansboro, two sisters, Mrs. Gladys Henderson, Dale, Mrs. Emma Campbell, McLeansboro, 26 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by two sons, two brothers and one sister.
