She was united in marriage with John B. Tedford January 22, 1884, with whom she lived happily until death separated them by taking her husband February 2, 1912. To the above union two children were born, Lena Ethel Redfearn of Belleville, Ill., and Earnest Elmer at home.
She professed faith in Christ when just a girl and united with Blooming Grove church, where she remained a member until death. Sister Tedford has always lived a devoted Christian life, and we can truly say that Godly mother has entered into rest. She was very devoted to her children. Her afflicted child, Ernie, received every care that it was possible for her to give.
She was very much attached to her grandson, Erskine, and in her last days, spoke often of her affection for him. She leaves to mourn their loss besides the two children, two grandchildren, one half sister and one half brother and many other relatives.
Funeral services were conducted at Blooming Grove Church Tuesday March 1, 1927, by Elder John B. Maulding. Interment in Blooming Grove Cemetery.
