Geo. W. Nalley was born in Cass County, Georgia, September 5, 1863.  Departed this life June 17, 1922, aged 58 years, 9 months and 12 days.

He came to McLeansboro in 1865.  He married Alice Oliver in 1884, two children were born to this union.  His wife departed this life June 5, 1890.

On October 9, 1894 he married Cora Dial, and to this union ten children were born, of which eight are living.

He leaves his wife and nine children to mourn his loss: Lillie Savage, Pauline Moore, Sina Marquis, Geo. Nalley, Bertha Walters, Irene Nalley, Ralph Nalley, Mary Nalley, Thurmal Nalley and one sister, Mrs. Eliza Fields of Shawneetown.

Funeral services at the Apostolic Mission of McLeansboro.  Conducted by Rev. Geo. V. Ratley of Eldorado assisted by Raymond Satterfield.
