Luella Mae Malone, daughter of W. L. and Sarah E. Webb Malone was born March 25, 1880; departed this life December 20, 1925, aged 45 years, 9 months and 20 days.

She professed faith in Christ in the year of 1917 at Peoria, Illinois, and united with the Christian church at that place.  She lived a devoted Christian until the time of her death, taking great interest in Sunday School and church work.

She leaves to mourn their loss, two brothers and two sisters, namely: James M. of Crossville, Cloyd C. and Mrs. Belle Tucker of near Enfield, and Mrs. Susie Cates of Thackeray; also one sister, Miss Ada E., who proceeded her in death; and four half sisters and one half brother, N. J. Malone, deceased, and a host of relatives and friends.

Funeral services ere conducted at the home of her sister, Mr. Susie Cates by Rev. John B. Maulding.  Interment in New Hope Cemetery.
