Wilma Lee JOHNSON, 69 of rural Topeka, Illinois and formerly of Ewing and McLeansboro, died October 22, 1993, in Havana, Ill.

She was born May 13, 1924, a daughter of William Benson and Opal (Lemay) Hedges.  She married James Alvin Johnson in 1943

She  is survived by her husband, one son; James Dale Johnson of Big Rapids, Michigan; one brother, Dale hedges of Tennessee and one sister, Ruth Ann Nimmo of Oklahoma; and one grand daughter, Rebecca Johnson.

Funeral services were conducted by Rev. Warren Hedges on October 25 at Hurley Funeral Home in Havana.  Burial followed at Laurel Hill Cemetery .

Mrs. Johnson was preceded in death by her parents, three daughters, one  son and one brother.
