Frederick Melvin Hutchcraft

        Fred Hutchcraft, 34, was found dead in the men's restroom of the Lammle Lanes bowling alleys in Gibson City at 12 noon Monday by the owner, Les Lammle.  Mr. Hutchcraft had entered the bowling establishment and gone directly to the restroom.  Five minutes later the body was discovered.  According to Coroner Frank Hunt II, death was due to coronary thrombosis.

        His funeral will be at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Lamb Funeral Home, the Rev. Lester A. Ringham officiating.  Burial will be in the Gibson City Cemetery.  A Chanute Air Base detail will officiate at the military rites at the graveside.  Visitation begins at 6 p.m. Tuesday.

        He was born July 2, 1929, in Aden, a son of Clyde and Ella Bond Hutchcraft.  He was unmarried.

        Surviving are his mother of Gibson City, a sister, Mrs. Velma Trimble of LeRoy, and a brother, Robert of Gibson City.  He was preceded in death by his father.

        He was a veteran of the Korean War and a member of the Gibson City Veterans of Foreign Wars and American Legion posts.

        Mr. Hutchcraft had been a Gibson City resident for 30 years.  For the last two years he had been employed by the Donner Product Co. in Gibson City.
