HOBERT J. CAMPBELL MACEDONIA
Hobert J. CAMPBELL Sr., 87 died at 8:15 p.m. Friday, December 13, 2002
at the Willow Care Center in Eldorado.
Services will held at 2 p.m., Monday, December 16, 2002 at he Harre
Funeral Home in McLeansboro with Rev. Dale BURZYNSKI, officiating and
burial in Macedonia Cemetery.
Mr. Campbell was born May 12, 1913 in Franklin County, Illinois to Alva
Eddie and Verla Mason (JOHNSON) CAMPBELL and on June 12, 1937, he married
Mary Victoria Campbell, who died on September 2, 2002.
He was a retired farmer and attended the Macedonia Methodist Church.
He was a member of the Macedonia Masonic Lodge # 1128 A.F. and A.m. and
served as Past Mason/Secretary and was also a member of the Macedonia
Eastern Star # 1028, Past Worthy Patron.
Survivors are a son Hobert CAMPBELL JR. and wife Helen of
Macedonia, a daughter, Mary Ann PORTER and husband Tom of
Equality., two sisters, Iva Jean ARNOLD of Memphis, Tenn. and Geneva
NAGRESKI of Benton. Two
grandchildren, Tim PORTER and wife Marjorie of Eldorado and Bonnie JONES
and husband Mike of Harrisburg. Five great grant children, Miranda and
Brent JONES of Harrisburg and Thomas, Drew and Gabe PORTER of Eldorado. His parents, wife, son Edward Keith CAMPBELL and a grandson Bryan Edward CAMPBELL and a sister Nadine KEARNEY all preceded him in death. |
