Guy Raymond "Flick" Smith

GUY RAYMOND "FLICK" SMITH, 70, a rural Dahlgren resident, the father of Bobby Smith, of Fairfield, died at 7:15 p.m. Monday December 20, 1982, at Good Samaritan Hospital at Mt. Vernon.  He was a retired factory worker at Airtex.

SERVICES WEDNESDAY

Funeral services were conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Richardson Funeral Home, of Wayne City, with Rev. H. H. Mayberry officiating.  Burial was in the Garrison Cemetery near Aden.  Mr. Smith was born in Wayne County September 12, 1912, the son of Grover and Lochie (Jones) Smith.  He was married to the former Flora Mitchell on July  2 9, 1933, who survives.

THE SURVIVORS:

Survivors are his wife, Flora, of Dahlgren; four sons, Bobby Smith, of Fairfield; Gary Smith, Romeoville; Jack and Tom Smith, both of Wayne City; two daughters Audrey Crockett, of Worland, Wyo.; Deloris White of Wayne City; one brother, Kirby Smith of Wayne City; three sisters, Hazel Lane, of Dahlgren; Alma Marshel, of Sims; Bonnie Rayburn, of Bristow, Oklahoma; 23 grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
