Bartonville, Illinois-Georgia E. Fennell,
80 of 2720 W. Scenic Drive in Peoria died at 3:11 p.m. Friday,
December 29, 1995 at Methodist Medical Center in Peoria. She was
formerly of Bartonville.
Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. today at Davison-Fulton
Bartonville Chapel. The Rev. James Lafley will officiate.
Burial will be in Parkview Cemetery in Peoria.
She was born November 2, 1915, in McLeansboro to Harry and Mary
(Ingram) Vaughn. She married Allan Ernest Fennell. He died
December 28, 1983, in Peoria.
One infant son, two brothers and one sister also preceded her in
Surviving are two daughters, Peggy Fitzpatrick of Creve Coeur and
Glenda Scheideler of Framingham, Mass.; one son, Mace Allan of
Missouri City, Texas; nine grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; six
brothers, Walter Vaughn of Bellville, John Vaughn and Thomas Vaughn
both of McLeansboro, Robert Vaughn and Clyde Vaughn both of
Bartonville, and Russell Vaughn of Glasford; and three sisters,
Rosalie Richardson of McLeansboro, Hazel Blinn of East Peoria, and
June Berry of Pekin.
Mrs. Fennell worked at ABC Factory in East Peoria. She later
worked at Laidlaw Co. in Bartonville for several years.
