        Mrs. Chas. B. Edick, succumbed to her illness last Saturday at the home of her son, Fred, with whom she had been spending the declining years of ife.  Mrs. Edick was a native of Tennessee, having been born in Cumberland county, of that state, February 22, 1842, and at the time of her demise was 74 years, 2 months and 29 days.

Since the death of Mr. Edick, she has lived with her son, Fred, surrounded by her loved ones and where her every want was devotedly attended to.  Her wait for the end and reunion with those gone before, has been patient and peaceful.

Funeral services were conducted at the home Monday afternoon by Rev. C. M. Prince.  Interment at Odd Fellows cemetery.

Mrs. Edick leaves four children--Fred, of this city; Mrs. U. H. Hutson, of Mt. Vernon, Ind.; Mrs. H. L. Brown and Mrs. G. W. Hill, both of Los Angeles, Calif.
