Dorothy M. Brown, 93, of Paxton died at 6:30 a.m. yesterday, November 27, 1991, at Ford County Nursing Home, Paxton.  Her funeral will be at 11 A.m. Saturday at Ford-Baier Funeral Home, Paxton, the Rev. Doug Bradley officiating.  Burial will be in Glen Cemetery, Paxton.

Mrs. Brown was born May 14, 1898 in Aden, a daughter of Gregg and Harriet Daily Smith.  She married George H. Brown on August 5, 1916 in Aden.  He survives.

Other survivors include three sons, Leroy M., Paxton; Ernest E., Gibson City; and Robert L., Rantoul; three daughters, Edna Marie  Anderson, Lexington; Dorothy Christiansen, Memphis, TN; and Flossie Mae Brucker, Sibley; two sisters, Muriel Rich, Wayne City, and Laura Ballard Peoria; one half sister, Juanita Murtal, McLeansboro; one half brothers, Clyde Smith, Henderson, KY; 21 grandchildren; and 25 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two sons, one sister and two brothers.
