Funeral services for Mrs. Lillie BROCKETT, 74 of McLeansboro, will be held at 1 p.m. Friday at Gholson Funeral Chapel in McLeansboro.  The rev. Billie Duncan and Rev. Ned Sutton will officiate with burial in Braden valley Cemetery.

The body will lie in state at the Gholson funeral Home, where friends may call after 4 p.m. today.

Mrs. Brockett died at 7:45 p.m. Tuesday in Hamilton Memorial Hospital in McLeansboro.

She was born January 28, 1896 in Hamilton  County, the daughter of Logan and Lou (Mezo) Smith.  She was married in 1913 to Fred Brockett Sr., who preceded her in death.

Survivors include three sons, Robert, Carlton and Fred Jr. all of McLeansboro; four daughters, Hazel Phelps of Eldorado, Goldie Hale, Beaulah Lankford and Lou Dean Smith all of McLeansboro; two brothers, James Ray and Willie Smith both of McLeansboro; three sisters, Flora Mc Ghee of Herrin, Nellie Endicott of McLeansboro and Myrtle Tolley of West Frankfort.; 14 grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
