WILBURN BOND DEAD

Wilburn Bond, aged veteran of the Civil War, died at his home in Dahlgren late Wednesday afternoon of last week at the ripe old age of 83 years.  He was a highly respected old citizen and leaves a wife, formerly Miss Hattie Coker and ten living children.  He is widely known in the county and had many friends who will be grieved to learn of his death.  (illegible) Services were held at Blooming Grove, Friday afternoon after which the remains were laid to rest at the cemetery there.

Vernon.  Married Mrs. Calista Upchurch, 03 June 1877 - she d. 25 Jan 1903; 6 ch., 5 living, 4 named: Mrs. Mary, Cozad, Neb.; Benjamin Bond, Pollard, Ark.; Mrs. Lizzie Hook, near McL.; & Jack Bond, near McL.  Married Miss Hattie Coker, 23 Apr 1904.  Interred Blooming Grove.
