Jesse F. Bond

Jesse F. Bond was born July 19, 1841, he departed this life April 4, 1928.

He was married to Mary A. Moore in 1866, and to this union nine children were born, namely: Richard J., Elizabeth, Lydia, William W., John, Mallisa J., who preceded him in death some time ago.  Joseph M., William D., and Albert B. C. survive.  His wife preceded him in death several years ago.

He later married Mary E. Jones, who survives him.

He professed faith in Christ at an early age, and united with the Missionary Baptist church at Belle City.

He enlisted in the service of his country during the Civil War and served three years.

He was a kind husband and a loving father, and was always ready to help the needy.

He leaves to mourn his loss, the above named wife and children, and 27 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren, two sisters and four brothers, namely: Abbie Hart, Rueben, Elizabeth Voliva of Dahlgren, William R. M., Quin Brake of Delafield, Sam of Equality, and a host of relatives and friends.

Funeral services were conducted at Blooming Grove by Elder John B. Maulding at Blooming Grove Friday, April 6, 1928.  Interment in Blooming Grove cemetery.
