Nancy C. Coker Asbury

Pub. Times-Leader, January 3, 1924 Nancy C. Coker, was born May 19, 1855; passed away Dec. 30, 1923, aged 73 years, 7 months and 11 days. She was married to Wesley L. Asbury Dec. 18, 1875. To this union three children were born, John, Susie and Mary, all of whom are living. Mr. Asbury passed away September 15, 1895. She professed faith in Jesus Christ at an early age and joined the Methodist Episcopal Church of Webb's Chapel, of which she remained a faithful member until called to join the Church Triumphant. She leaves to mourn their loss, three children, John W., Mrs. Susie Malone and Mrs. Mary Mangis, two brothers, Charles of this city and John W., of Harrisburg, and eight grandchildren, besides a host of relatives and friends. Funeral services were conducted at the home by Brother J. C. Elliott and the remains laid to rest in the Odd Fellows Cemetery. |
