Mrs. Mary Asbury Died Tuesday

       Mrs. Mary E. Asbury, age 89, one of McLeansboro's oldest and most highly esteemed citizens, passed away Tuesday morning, August 15, at the home of Mrs. Cora W. Flannigan on N. Washington Street, with whom she made her home.

       Mrs. Asbury was the widow of the late Dr. I. M. Asbury, veteran of the Civil War, in whose honor the I. M. Asbury Chapter No. 261, R. A. M., of this city, was named.

       Funeral services will be held this afternoon (Thursday) at 2 o'clock at the Flannigan home.
