Fitchburg, Massachusetts - Alma Josephine Maulding, 65, formerly of Essex and Gray Ridge, Missouri died Wednesday at Burbank Hospital at Fitchburg.

Born January 18, 1919, daughter of the late Harry Maulding and Mamie Claytor Maulding, she had lived most of her life in Essex and Gray Ridge areas and was affiliated with Circle City General Baptist church.  She had lived at Fitchburg three years.

Surviving are: one son, Darrell Maulding of Fitchburg; seven sisters, Grace Harris of Flint, Michigan, Ora Nichols of Poplar Bluff, Missouri, Velma Hupp and Doris Brinson of St. Louis, Betty Hall, Ruth Wilson and Deloris Gromer of Pontiac, Michigan, three brothers, John Maulding of Center Ridge, Arkansas, Reginald Maulding of Windsor, Illinois and Charles Maulding of St. Louis and three grandchildren.

Friends may call at Watkins and Sons Funeral Home at Dexter, Missouri, where services are scheduled at 1 PM Saturday with the Reverend Marion Gipson of Dexter, Missouri officiating.

Burial will follow in Taylor Cemetery near Essex, Missouri.

Note:  Alma Maulding was the GGG granddaughter of Ambrose Maulding of Hamilton Co., IL.
