ABBIE GHOLSON

Abbie GHOLSON, 92, of McLeansboro died 7:30 a.,. December 11, 2002 at her home.  Mrs. GHOLSON was Co-founder of  Gholson Funeral Homes in Dahlgren and McLeansboro.  She was born June 25, 1910 in Raleigh to David and Lula (ODLE) BUSLER.  She married Elmo GHOLSON and he preceded her in death.

Funeral services will be a 1 p.m. Sunday at Gholson Funeral Home in McLeansboro.  The Revs. Robert SEFRIED and Ron TROTTER, officiating.  Entombment will be in the family mausoleum at the IOOF Cemetery in McLeansboro.

Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.

She is survived by a son, Jerome B. Gholson of McLeansboro, a daugher: Malinda (GHOLSON0 MUNSELL of Mc Leansboro, three granddaughters, Belinda MUNSELL of Jersey City, N. J., Erika Maureen and Elecia Joan GHOLSON of McLeansboro. And four great grandchildren; Cordelia, Abigail, Cyrus amd Orson Chansler.

Mrs. GHOLSON was a member of the Rebaka Lodge, White Shrine of Jerusalem and McLeansboro First Baptist Church..

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two brothers and three sisters.
