Elijah E. Webb Family

Elijah E. Webb, son of Obed Hendrick Webb and Sarah Averett, was born November 17, 1840 in Hamilton County, Illinois. Elijah E. Webb married Sarah Violetta Munsell Brown, daughter of Ira M. Munsell and Martha P. Ballard. Sarah Violetta Munsell Brown was born September 4, 1847 in Hamilton County, Illinois.

Elijah E. Webb and Sarah Violetta Munsell Brown were married March 14, 1883 in Hamilton County, Illinois. Elijah and Sarah had four children: Naomi Jane, Samuel Tilden, Martha Lucinda, and Ella Susan.

Samuel Tilden Webb, born Jan. 28, 18885 in Hamilton County, IL married Mary Madaline Thompson, born May 24, 1889 in Hamilton co., IL on December 24, 1906 in Hamilton Co., IL. Mary Madaline was the daughter of David Thompson and Paralee Gebelle Carey. Samuel and Madaline had fourteen children: Willis Spillman, Harry Tilden, Charles Ernest, David Eavert, Reba Laverne (Liessman), Opal Marie (Graft), Emery Edsel, Carrie Myrtle (Prince), Sarah Wilma (Ingram), Darrel Delmar, Cora Lucille (Gibbs), Samuel Alfred, Val Gene and Billy Gailen. Of these fourteen children, ten are still alive. There are numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. Several members of this family still reside in Hamilton County.
